Our Cupcakes Are...

We decided to have a little reveal tonight..it was easier than making a ton of phone calls. I made cupcakes after my appointment today and stuffed the inside of two with the appropriate gender color. I wanted Trevor to eat one and Gavin the other.

Since Daddy had a late day at the academy today, they didnt come over until bedtime. The boys were okay with staying up late and eating cupcakes instead.

We told Trevor to take a big bite and he kept licking the frosting. Everyone was begging him to dig in and he finally did! Gavin required some help from Daddy. He bit the bottom and Daddy flipped it over.

BOYS!

Two more boys. Four little boys. Oh.my.goodness!

Yay! Four boys! Such fun and busy blessings! I have two boys and if we had anymore I would want boys! I work in a skilled nursing facility and often ask my patients if their children are friends and if they have any advice to share....almost always the ones with mostly or all boys report their sons are best friends! Congrats and yay!

I still can't believe it's 2 boys!! I was so sure at least one of them would be a girl. I guess now you have the task of trying to name them - I've always found boys names harder.

So excited for you, if their brothers are anything to go by, these little twin boys are going to the most adorable little guys!

Oh my gosh! Your boys will have so much fun, growing up with that many brothers - and you will have so much fun, too :) I'm pregnant with my 3rd and have 2 boys, and I confess I'm kind of hoping for a 3rd boy because I think they'll love having a pair of brothers each. Congratulations!!!

YAY!!! Congratulations! As you know, boys are the best and they truly love their Mama's:)

(Btw I'm a long-time lurker but not good at commenting)

Just wanted to add too that I'm five months preggo with our second boy. Not sure how you're feeling about your little ones being boys? I know with me personally, because this is our last child, I honestly was a little dissappointed the day of the ultrasound. I was so sure we were having a girl and had to grieve a little bit. It wasn't the fact that our beautiful baby was a boy, but the fact that we wouldn't have a girl. Of course now we're SUPER excited about our second little man! But I just wanted to assure you that if you're not quite 'there' yet, it's normal and perfectly okay to have some mixed emotions right now..you will get there:) You seem like the best Mama btw!

Crazy! I guessed 1 boy, 1 girl. You are very blessed. So happy for you all. I can't wait to hear what you all decide to name them.

Holly said...

Congrats! All I can say is since we have 5 girls under 2.5 years old, it's really great having everyone close in age, able to share toys and clothes and plan activities to their age and gender. I was so afraid the 5th would be a boy and he would complain as he grew that everything in our house is pink and purple and sparkles and flowers, LOL! So, really, you can handle four boys! You will do great!!!! Congrats again!

Congratulations. Just think of the fun you will have with all their T-ball teams! So happy for you. Now the hard part, picking names for two more boys!
