Not So Scary

Back for Disney posts...

We headed to our Halloween party and arrived around 4pm. You go in a special line and get a wristband and map for the evening. We went to Tomorrowland and straight to the Laughing floor. Trevor and Gavin were the guys from Monsters Inc., Sulley and Mike Wazowski. :) Of course, Gavin and I got on the big screen during that show.

It was HOT, so Trevor only wore his costume for a bit. We went on the Buzz ride, again. It was the ride we rode the most of the trip.

Tom and Trev went on the car ride and then we sat to eat and check out our map. They had trick or treat spots as well as two trails with multiple stations. They had a special parade that went twice and a fireworks show. There were also special character meet and greets. The party started at 7pm and we wanted to get as much done as possible. Tom would have loved to just enjoy the small crowd and go on rides all night, but I pointed out that we paid extra for the Halloween part of the evening. :)

We did one trick or treat trail and went on a few rides before the parade. The parade was, hands down, the most phenomenal parade I have ever seen. We had a front row seat and just loved it. We have been singing the song since we left. Trick or treat, for something to you and you and you and you, Happy Halloween!

After the parade, we rushed over to meet Jack Sparrow, since Trevor is kind of obsessed. It was a long line and he took 2 breaks while we waited. We were glad we stuck it out because Trevor was so excited. He RAN to Jack. Jack asked if he was excited to see him and Trevor shook his head so hard with the biggest grin. Gavin enjoyed his hair. Plus, we got one of my favorite family pictures from the trip.

After Jack, we did some more trick or treating. They were generous with the candy and the boys got a lot. We walked around, meeting more characters, hopping on rides and caught some of the fireworks above us.

Trevor was a trooper. We were hoping he would stay awake late and he did. He was not crabby and just kept going.

We met Aladdin and Abu at about 11:30 pm. Trev was done!

I was told we had to meet Tarzan, since he is never out. Trevor was a little unsure of him.

We left the park just before midnight. We really enjoyed the party and thought it was worth the extra money. Trick or treating at the Magic Kingdom?! It doesnt get much better than that!
