Day 3 and Ultrasound

We hung out with Toms Aunt and Uncle in the morning on Thursday. I had met his Uncle while he was in town recently, but never had the chance to meet his Aunt Melissa. They were so kind and cute with Trevor. They have 4 cats, so Trevor was in heaven. Melissa was heading out of town herself, so we left before lunch and went to In and Out Burger. Tom had never been, he is now a big fan. As we left there, I realized we left Trevors beloved bear at their house! Luckily, they had a code we could use to run in and grab it. Crisis averted! We drove down to San Diego while Trevor napped.

Our SD hotel was not nearly as nice as our Anaheim one. It was just a room. We were spoiled the first few days. We went in the pool for a bit, but there were bees around so we didnt stay long. We went to the downtown area to explore and get some fresh air.

I was craving Panera and thanks to my wonderful Iphone, I found there was on minutes from where we were. We had a big dinner and found out that night that they accepted our offer on the house we put a bid on. The realtor emailed me the papers we needed to sign, so we knew we had to take care of that in the morning before our fun began.

Before too much time goes by, I want to mention my ultrasound I had last week. We had a late evening appointment and left Trevor behind to go to bed. We had our normal 20 week ultrasound and I was 20 weeks 5 days pregnant. The ultrasound was awesome! It was the most detailed u/s I have ever had. The doc didnt just measure what he needed. He took the time to point out every single thing to us. He is so fun and friendly and enthusiastic. Everything on baby boy was perfect and measuring spot on. All the measurements were either 20w4d, 20w5d or 20w6d. He said up to 10 days before or after is normal and we were within one day. I was relieved he isnt huge..yet. And he is still a boy, very much so. He kept flashing his goods. He has an adorable profile and Trevors nose. He was sucking his thumb, which I was so excited about. Trevor never did that on any ultrasound. We love him so much and were happy he is growing as he should be!
