I didn't have any braxton hicks contractions. Well, maybe one or two that last week but nothing like you hear and I couldn't tell I was having contractions until I was in the last stage of labour. All I new was that my back hurt more than it should.

Congrats on your baby boy.

i never really felt but like 3 braxton hicks and didn't know what they were. but somehow i got to 4cm dialated without feeling anything. after i was in real labor, i said "oh those were contractions". it just felt like my tummy was tightening up.

Braxton Hicks contractions just feel like your belly gets really tight, then it goes back to norma, and then it might happen again a few minutes later. I didn't have many that I recognized when I was pregnant with my single baby, but I had them every night for hours with my twins, and that went on for probably two months.

I didn't have many braxton hicks, but the ones I did made me so excited that I was getting close!
I am working on your little swap package! Any request? Needs?

Happy 30 weeks!!

When I had braxton hicks, I kept thinking my pants were too low and too tight...but would forget it about it then a little bit later think about it again...til *duh!* it came to me...lol

I remember the feeling about not wanting to hear everyone else's opinions...with my 1st pregnancy I just smiled, with the second one, I responded with whatever came out...no apologies...haha!

I'm glad your feeling good.
I've been having braxton hicks for a long time now. Your uterus just feels really tight, no pain, more of a discomfort. Then it just loosens up and stops.
Just in case you have one, thats what they feel like.
I can't wait to hear about your shower. Hope you got lots of goodies.

To me Braxton Hicks contractions just feel like my belly is tightening into to ball and then it relaxes (picture doing a crunch). They don't hurt at all (or at least to me they don't). They can be a little uncomfortable but nothing too serious. I am to the point now where I am waiting on the real ones to show up.

And yes, I can totally relate with the pregnancy comments. I try and be nice but sometimes I just can't refrain and they end up seeing my frustrations. Some people just have too many opinions...

Can't wait to hear about the shower! I bet it was fantastic!
Most of all, I hope you got some rest. You deserve it!

You are getting sooo close!!! Yay! Braxton hicks for me just felt like my skin was tightening around the baby. They didn't hurt, just squeezed a bit.

for the leg cramps.... drink lots of OJ and eat a banana a day. This boost your potassium levels on top of your prenatal and will cut down on leg cramps. Another tip- run a hot bath, sit and soak for a while, before water cools, while still sitting, point your toes toward the wall. this will help stretch those calf muscles but as they are relaxed from the warm water, you won't cramp near as bad. The more you stretch the better you are. Both of my boys caused major cramps!
