Twenty Six Hours

I really can't believe tomorrow is our big day. I cant control my excitement!
There are NO cons to either sex, but I do think there is a major pro for each. It would be great to have a girl, for Delaney's sake. She is the only girl grandchild, with 3 boys surrounding her. Shes getting a little too comfortable being the Princess...In all seriousness, Id love to give her a girl cousin. On the other hand, Tom and I always have said we would like a boy for our first child. Tom is the bigger brother, granted its by a minute, and I have a big brother. I guess we think everyone deserves a protective big brother.
...Either way, I know we will be the happiest two people in the world!...

i just wanted to say it is so refreshing and exciting to hear you say you will be thrilled with either sex. i have a friend recently, upon finding out that she was having a girl, was disappointed, upset, and "uncomfortable" with having a girl. it blows my mind and has upset me some...her continuous unease with what she's having. struggling alongside one of my best friends that was TTC for over 2 yrs., i can't understand why someone wouldn't love and be soo excited for any child (esp. when they've been blessed with a heathly baby). anyway, soap box there, but wanted to share how uplifted i am by your attitude and outlook. God bless you and your little one (whatever he/she may be!) :)

(no, i've never commented before, but i found your blog through another and have gotten encouragement and empathy for my TTC friend through many of your thoughts. ps. my TTC friend is now 28 wks with a little girl!!) :)

Hope everything is okay. Since it's friday and you went to the Dr on Thursday. I'm hoping that it is just knowing that you wouldn't be able to blog and NOT TELL US.

Hope you 3 have a great weekend.
